The Scotriders motorcycle training is carefully guided by husband and wife Alan and Heather Kelly, who have more than 40 years’ bike riding experience.
Alan is a Cardington DSA-Qualified Instructor who was first trained as a motorcycle instructor by Star Rider in 1989 and worked with them and consequently Scot Rider until they ceased training in 1995.
During this time he trained hundreds of motorcyclists across Tayside to complete their CBT and pass their full motorcycle test.
Heather joined Scot Rider in 1990 and soon became a valued member of the team, also training many riders in Dundee and the surrounding areas to complete CBTs and pass their full bike tests.

I got my CBT as a gift card from my brother. I sat my CBT in March and was instantly hooked on biking. I found Alan to be very patient as I had trouble with my hill starts and clutch control, but he made it fun and relaxing. H thanks for the fiver and most importantly the friendly hairdryer treatment before I went for my test. I would recommend Scotriders to anyone wishing to start biking. I passed my full test within a year and with no minors which is a testament to there professionalism.
