The Scotriders motorcycle training is carefully guided by husband and wife Alan and Heather Kelly, who have more than 40 years’ bike riding experience.
Alan is a Cardington DSA-Qualified Instructor who was first trained as a motorcycle instructor by Star Rider in 1989 and worked with them and consequently Scot Rider until they ceased training in 1995.
During this time he trained hundreds of motorcyclists across Tayside to complete their CBT and pass their full motorcycle test.
Heather joined Scot Rider in 1990 and soon became a valued member of the team, also training many riders in Dundee and the surrounding areas to complete CBTs and pass their full bike tests.
Scotriders … we’re here to help you with motorcycle training in Dundee.
Today I had the best experience doing my CBT with Alan. After 2 terrible experiences with a school and ready to give up on the idea of riding on my own (vs the back of my partners) I was very hesitant and quite nervous doing it again. So glad that I did, not only had Heather put my mind at rest when we spoke but from the moment we got started on the CBT I was met with great patience, support and understanding. Alan took the time to make sure I got everything and felt sure before moving to the road. Even then stopping to talk through things if was needed. It was clear through the day that these guys love to get others into an activity that they enjoy themselves. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of this school as well as the atmosphere created. I'm so gratefull I gave Scotriders a go and look forward to the next steps to my full licence. Thank you SO much!!!
