The Scotriders motorcycle training is carefully guided by husband and wife Alan and Heather Kelly, who have more than 40 years’ bike riding experience.
Alan is a Cardington DSA-Qualified Instructor who was first trained as a motorcycle instructor by Star Rider in 1989 and worked with them and consequently Scot Rider until they ceased training in 1995.
During this time he trained hundreds of motorcyclists across Tayside to complete their CBT and pass their full motorcycle test.
Heather joined Scot Rider in 1990 and soon became a valued member of the team, also training many riders in Dundee and the surrounding areas to complete CBTs and pass their full bike tests.
Scotriders … we’re here to help you with motorcycle training in Dundee.
I passed my bike test in 1967 and have not been on a bike for 45 years. Marriage, kids, company car conspired to keep me out of the saddle. I decided to do a refresher course. I went to a competitor first. Training was good. BUT I decided I needed experience on a bigger bike with more practice area and contacted Heather who organised 90 minutes with Alan on a 500cc machine. Training was excellent. We cruised the streets of Dundee and Broughty Ferry and Alan's input in my left ear was excellent. Road positioning, braking, junctions etc ..... oh, and "cancel your indicators" ..... again. I have no hesitation in recommending Scotriders. If I can persuade my wife to let me buy a bike, I might be back to do the ERS !!!!
