The Scotriders motorcycle training is carefully guided by husband and wife Alan and Heather Kelly, who have more than 40 years’ bike riding experience.
Alan is a Cardington DSA-Qualified Instructor who was first trained as a motorcycle instructor by Star Rider in 1989 and worked with them and consequently Scot Rider until they ceased training in 1995.
During this time he trained hundreds of motorcyclists across Tayside to complete their CBT and pass their full motorcycle test.
Heather joined Scot Rider in 1990 and soon became a valued member of the team, also training many riders in Dundee and the surrounding areas to complete CBTs and pass their full bike tests.
Scotriders … we’re here to help you with motorcycle training in Dundee.
I have been with Scotriders from my CBT, through both modules one and two, in the big bike Direct Access Scheme. Having been born in Greece and lacking the necessary skills to ride a motorcycle in a sensible manner initially, not only I had to learn how to operate a motorcycle, but also adapt in a totally new way of thinking and riding on the road. Thanks to the patience and skill of both instructors at the training school, I managed to do just that. I sincerely cannot express with words my gratitude to them. They were at my side from day one, supporting me all the way; enabling me not to just to pass my test, but more importantly, to ride in a way that is enjoyable and safe. I would say to anyone who is looking for a riding school to train, 'Look no further, Scotriders is the place to go'.
